4 added  ingredients to the regular Organic Elderberry Syrup recipe I use!
Now I’ve added in Certified Organic Dried Echinacea, Rosehips, Goji Berries and Star Anise!

Big news everyone!!!!! I’ve taken my already awesome Elderberry Syrup up to the next level y’all! As if it wasn’t a super already, right??  It’s the same Elderberry Syrup but super boosted with 4 additional herbs, spices & berries. Here’s a little more info on these powerful new ingredients I’ve added to my more powerful and “pumped up” EBS!! You’ll see why I’ve chosen these little gems and why you’ll want to upgrade to Ultimate Elderberry Syrup for your family!!

All of the original Elderberry syrup ingredients are still in there:
Organic Dried Elderberries
Organic Fresh & Powdered Ginger
Organic Dried Whole Cloves
Organic Cinnamon Stick & Powder
Organic Lemon Peel
Local Raw Honey from Southern Crest Apiaries.

Here’s a more detailed description of the 4 ultimate ingredients I’ve added:
1. Echinacea: this amazing super-herb boosts the body’s defenses against colds/flu/illness and is both a preventative and a curative. Even better, it is safe for children, the elderly, and everyone else too. Echinacea (and also elderberries) might have an effect on the immune system that could make auto-immune disorder conditions worse. Do not take echinacea if you have an auto-immune disorder.

2. Rosehips: most popular for their super high vitamin C levels. However, it’s not just vitamin C that these babies are packed with, they also contain flavanoids, antioxidants, vitamin E, vitamin K, and minerals like calcium, magnesium, and zinc. All these vitamins and nutrients make rosehips great at supporting the immune system, healing, and protection against diseases. All of this sounds like a perfect addition to my Ultimate Elderberry Syrup especially when an unexpected illness pops up or you just can’t shake it!!

3. Goji berries: For centuries the Chinese have used parts of the entire goji berries also known as the wolfberry, plant for food or medicine. They are extremely nutritionally dense and high in antioxidants. Claimed to enhance the immune system, improve eyesight and circulation, and protect the liver, Goji berries are truly a super food.

4. Star Anise: Star anise is the principle active ingredient in Tamiflu. It has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. It is used to treat asthma, dry cough, and bronchitis. It can also promote sound sleep.

Elderberry Syrup is most well known for being a powerful immunity booster. There have been multiple studies conducted that are showing that elderberry serves both as an immune stimulant and as a remedy for viral infections, especially the flu and common cold.
Elderberries naturally contain A, B, and C and stimulate the immune system. Researchers have found that the complex sugars in elderberries support the immune system in fighting cold and flu by disarming the enzyme viruses use to penetrate healthy cells in the lining of the nose and throat. Taken before infection, it prevents infection. Taken after infection, it prevents spread of the virus through the respiratory tract. In a clinical trial, 20% of study subjects reported significant improvement within 24 hours, 70% by 48 hours, and 90% claimed complete cure in three days. In contrast, subjects receiving the placebo required 6 days to recover.
Elderberries have traditionally been used in the following ways:
*to boost the immune system
*for coughs, colds and flu
*to lower cholesterol
*to improve vision
*to improve heart health
*for bacterial and viral infections like tonsillitis
*to treat arthritis
*as an anti-inflammatory

Yes, but I always instruct to always consult with your healthcare practitioner before use. Elderberry Syrup is not FDA approved and therefore always will have this precaution applied.

-Is there anyone who should not consume Elderberry products?
Yes.  Elderberry works by stimulating the immune system. This may cause the immune system to become more active and could increase the symptoms of autoimmune diseases. If you have an autoimmune disease, it’s best to avoid using elderberry. Examples of autoimmune diseases are: Multiple Sclerosis, Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus, Lupus, Scleroderma, Psoriasis and Rheumatoid Arthritis.  This is just a brief list of the more common autoimmune disorders. Please consult with your healthcare practitioner if you are being treated for any medical condition and/or taking any medication before use.

Very interested in a few of your products. How much is it to ship to NY

    1. Hi Jill!!
If you’d like to give me a list of the items you would like to purchase and your zip code, I can give you an estimate. I always try to ship the lease expensive way possible. Sometimes it is more cost effective to ship using a flat-rate box for multiple items. To ship a Pint of Elderberry Syrup along the east coast is usually $8-$9.
Hope this helps! Please let me know if I can help you any further.
      Thanks so much,
      Christine Albornoz
